Duracoat Royale Sunproof Roof Paint is an extremely durable, weather resistant and fully flexible coating for roofs. It is based on 100% pure acrylic emulsion from a world renowned company Rohm and Haas. The tough formulation is resistant to UV light and offers superior water resistance. Advanced pigments and light stabilisers ensure that the wide range of colours remain true for a long time.

Thinning:
DO NOT thin. Paint is ready to apply. For cleaning equipment use water.
Spreading rate:
Spreading rate varies according to the surface porosity and texture. Approximate spreading rates on different surfaces are given below.

Hints and tips (for best results)
- Always read instructions
- Always use good quality brushes
- Try to paint in one motion
- Always pre test on a small area first
Wise precautions:
- Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- In case of contact with skin wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Instructions
Please read carefully to get optimum performance from this high quality product.
- Stir well till homogeneous after opening.
- Using a little quantity of paint, thin to brushable viscosity and apply onto a small area on the prepared surface to confirm shade and finish. This will avoid redoing the whole work if the shade is not suitable to your taste

Surface Preparation
Galvanised roof: Clean new surfaces with fresh water thoroughly. Dry and prime with Duracoat Etching Primer. Rust if any, should be sanded to bright metal and prime with Duracoat Etching Primer. Do light sanding. Then apply one coat of Duracoat Zinc Chromate Primer. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Apply two coats of undiluted Duracoat Royale Sunproof Roof Paint. For previously painted surface loose paint, chalk and dirt should be removed by scrapping, sanding and cleaning with water before applying Etching Primer.
Granular tiles, asbestos fibre-cement tiles, Clay tiles: For new and previously painted surface in good condition, remove dust, dirt, lose granules, friable and powdery material by scrubbing with hard bristle brush and water. Allow surface to dry. Apply one coat of Duracoat Pliolite Surface Conditioner. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Then apply two coats of undiluted Duracoat Royale Sunproof Roof Paint. Previously painted surface in poor condition should be stripped out completely using Duracoat Paint Remover and follow the procedures above depending on substrate material.
Application: Can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. Do Not thin. Paint is ready to apply. Clean equipment with water.
Spreading capacity: Approx. 7 Sq.Mt/Ltr on Fibre-Cement tiles, 9 sq.mt/ltr on Galvanised tiles, 2-4 sq.mt/ltr on Granular Cement tiles.
Drying: Touch dry in 30 minutes, overcoatable within 3 – 4 hours under normal drying conditions
