Product Description :
Duracoat Royale Silk Sheen Emulsion is a technically upgraded, superior premium emulsion paint with high quality resin, pigments and extenders. It is formulated to give semi-reflective finish with high scrub resistance. The product is suitable for high traffic areas which require regular cleaning e.g. hallways, corridors, reception areas. It is suitable for a new and previously painted surface e.g. plasters, cement, brick stone, soft/hard wood, asbestos sheets, etc.

- Can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray
- Stir well before use
Use clean water to thin to brushable viscosity. DO NOT overthin as this can impair the final finish and the sheen level.
Spreading rate :
Spreading rate varies according to the surface porosity and texture. Approximate spreading rates on different surfaces are given below.

Available from BS 4800, Royale colour book and Duracoat Classic fandeck. Special shades can be made on request.

Hints and tips (for best results)
- Always read instructions
- Always use good quality brushes
- Try to paint in one motion
- Always pre test on a small area first
- Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes
- In case of contact with skin wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Wear Dustcoat or Overall, Hand gloves and Breathing Mask if spraying.
- Keep out of reach of children
Instructions
Please read carefully to get optimum performance from this high quality product.
- Stir well till homogeneous after opening.
- Using a little quantity of paint, thin to brushable viscosity and apply onto a small area on the prepared surface to confirm shade and finish. This will avoid redoing the whole work if the shade is not suitable to your taste
Surface preparation : All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and other impurities. Cracks and defects should be filled with appropriate crack filler.
New surfaces : Ensure the surface is dry. Apply one coat of Duracoat Royale All Purpose Undercoat followed by two coats of Duracoat Royale Silk Sheen Emulsion.
Previously painted surfaces : Remove all loose, chalky, flaking materials. Powdery materials should be removed with a wire brush. Treat all surfaces with Pliolite Surface Conditioner. Treat surface for mould or algae if present with Duracoat Fungicidal Wash. Allow to dry. Then apply a minimum of two coats of Duracoat Royale Silk Sheen Emulsion.
Best for interior.
Add 10% to 15% clean water for best results on finish coat.
Spreading capacity : 13 – 17 sq.mt/ltr on smooth previously painted non porous surface.
Drying : Touch dry in 45 minutes, overcoatable within 4 – 5 hours under normal drying conditions.
Stir well before use, clean equipment with water.
