Duracoat Royale Solid Matt Emulsion is based on 100% pure Acrylic Emulsion from a world renowned company Rohm and Haas. It is formulated using premium quality binders, pigments and extenders to give solid matt finish with increased hiding power, coverage and a more superior performance than all other comparative products. It is highly economical, ideal for ceilings and new walls.

Thinning :
Use clean water to thin to brushable consistency. DO NOT overthin as this will impair the final properties of the paint film.



Spreading rate :
Spreading rate varies according to the surface porosity and texture. Approximate spreading rates on different surfaces are given below.

Hints and tips (for best results)
  • Always read instructions
  • Always use good quality brushes
  • Try to paint in one motion
  • Always pre-test on a small area first
Wise precautions :
  • Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes
  • In case of contact with skin wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advise.
  • Wear Dustcoat or Overall, Hand gloves and Breathing mask if spraying.
  • Keep out of reach of children

Instructions
Please read carefully to get optimum performance from this high quality product.

  • Stir well till homogeneous after opening.
  • Using a little quantity of paint, thin to brushable viscosity and apply onto a small area on the prepared surface to confirm shade and finish. This will avoid redoing the whole work if the shade is not suitable to your taste
Duracoat Royale Solid Matt Emulsion is a technically upgraded version of Superfast Emulsion formulated using premium quality binder, pigments and extenders to give a solid matt finish with increased hiding power, coverage and a more superior performance than all other comparative products. It is highly economical, ideal for ceilings and new walls.

Surface preparation : All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and other impurities. Cracks and defects should be filled with suitable crack filler. Powdery or unsound surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned . Then apply one coat of Duracoat Pliolite surface conditioner.



New surfaces : No primer is required on sound masonry or soft board. Apply one coat of Duracoat Royale Solid Matt Emulsion as a priming coat, thin down with water in ratios of 1:1 by volume. Hard board or chipboard should be sealed with one coat of Duracoat Royale All Purpose Undercoat. Then apply two coats of Duracoat Royale Solid Matt Emulsion.

Previously painted surfaces : Remove all loose, chalky, flaking materials. Powdery materials should be removed with a wire brush. Treat all surfaces with Duracoat Pliolite Surface Conditioner. Treat surface for mould or algae if present with Duracoat Fungicidal Wash. Allow to dry. Then apply a minimum of two coats of Duracoat Royale Solid Matt Emulsion.

Application : Can be applied by brush, roller or aireless spray. Do Not overthin. Add 15% to 20% for best results on finish coat.

Spreading capacity : 14 – 18 sq.mt/ltr on smooth previously painted non porous surface. 13 – 15 sq.mt/ltr on cement – wood float.

Drying : Touch dry in 30 minutes, overcoatable within 4 – 5 hours under normal drying conditions.

Stir well before use, clean equipment with water.
