Product Description:Duracoat Chlorinated Rubber Paint is designed for use in chemical factories, food factories, hospitals and clinics. It is also recommended for cold rooms and coating walls of concrete swimming pools. It is based on plasticised chlorinated rubber and high quality pigments. All ingredients used are chemically inert and are not affected by wide range of acids and alkalis. This product yields a flexible film.
Finish: Gloss or Matt usually specified by user.
Application: By Brush or Roller. Do not spray
Thinning: It should be thinned with DuraCoat Chlorinated Thinner for ease of application.
Drying time: Surface dry: 5-10 mins
Re-coatable after: 4 hours
Cleaning: Clean all equipment with DuraCoat Chlorinated Thinner
Colour Range: White, Black, Light colours available from DuraCoat colour Chart and DuraCoat Fan Deck
Spread Rate: 10-12 sq mts per litre when applied on smooth, non porous surface.
Pack Sizes: 1 litre, 4 litres, 20 litres
Specifications:
Concrete, Plaster or Stone: The surfaces to be painted should be clean and dry. Apply three coats of DuraCoat Chlorinated Rubber Paint.
Wooden surfaces: Prime with Duracoat Chlorinated Rubber Primer.
Heat Resistance: Approximately 100oC
Please note:
- When coating swimming pools avoid painting in direct sunlight. Apply one coat of Duracoat Chlorinated Rubber Primer followed by one or two coats of finish
- Allow the paint to cure for seven days when applied inside water tanks, swimming pools and fish ponds, before flooding with water.
