Product Description: Duracoat Vinyl Silk Emulsion paint is designed to give a good durable sheen (silky) finish on surfaces which are washable and are suitably prepared and undercoated. It is ideal as a finish in living rooms, bed rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, hospital rooms etc. Finish: An even high sheen (silky) finish equal to 50 % of good quality gloss enamel paint. Semi gloss – semi matt and rich. Application: By Brush, rollers, conventional spray. Thinning: Supplied ready to use therefore no thinning is required. If applied by spray, then thin with water to spray-able viscosity. Drying time (Surface Dry): 20-30 minutes Re-coating Time: 3 hours Cleaning: Clean all equipment with water Colour Range: Available in a wide range of colours from DuraCoat Colour Card and DuraCoat Classic Fan Deck. Spread Rate: 13-15 sq. mts. per litre when applied on smooth plaster. Spread rate will vary if applied on rough surfaces Pack Sizes: 1 litre, 4 litres, 20 litres Specifications: All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, free from dusts, grease or any loose material. New Unpainted Cement or Plaster surfaces: Apply three coats of DuraCoat Vinyl Silk unthinned for better results. If preferred, one coat of DuraCoat Vinyl Matt Emulsion can be applied as first coat followed by two coats of DuraCoat Vinyl Silk Emulsion. Previously painted surfaces: Clean the surface and remove loose, flaking and powdery materials. Apply one coat of DuraCoat Penetrating Primer followed by two coats of DuraCoat Vinyl Silk Emulsion Previously painted gloss surfaces: Ensure that gloss paint is completely rubbed down to provide a key. Apply one coat of DuraCoat Universal Undercoat of the desired shade followed by two coats of DuraCoat Vinyl Silk Emulsion, Please note: When overcoating a dark shade with a light shade apply one coat of DuraCoat Vinyl Matt Emulsion followed by two coats of DuraCoat Vinyl Silk Emulsion
